Housefull 4: #MeToo Accused Sajid Khan To Legally Sue The FIlm's Producers Over Not Getting Direction Credit?
Last year, the Bollywood film industry had come to a standstill after the #MeToo movement got its recognition. It was kick-started by Tanushree Dutta, who accused Nana Patekar of sexual misconduct while on the sets of their film. Soon after, many well-known names like Alok Nath, Anu Malik and Vikas Bahl among others were accused. The list also included filmmaker Sajid Khan, who was in the mid of directing Housefull 4 back then. However, he was soon replaced by Farhad Samji and, now; Housefull 4 is all set to hit the big screens, albeit with only Farhad’s name as the director.

This hasn’t gone down well with Sajid Khan, who claims to have directed most of the film before his exit. And if a report in Bollywood Bubble is to be believed, Khan is exasperated with the producers of Housefull 4 for not giving him the due credit as the film’s director. And apparently, he has sent a legal notice to the makers because of the same reason. A source close to this case told to the portal, “Sajid Khan is extremely miffed with everyone involved for the way things have turned out to be. He is not happy that he has got no credit for the film, which he has conceptualized and planned and even directed most of. He has sent a legal notice to Fox and asked them to give him due credit.”

Further, the source revealed that Fox might even win this case; however, they are in no mood to embroil into any controversy ahead of the film’s release. (Also read - Housefull 4 Trailer Launch: Akshay Kumar Says He Is Open To Working With #MeToo Accused Sajid Khan If Acquitted – WATCH VIDEO)
